Edward Lebovics, M.D., is a renowned gastroenterologist and the Sarah C. Upham Professor of Gastroenterology at New York Medical College. He has served as the Director of the College’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Diseases and Chief of the Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Diseases at Westchester Medical Center since 1998 and has been recognized with numerous awards and honors. Dr. Lebovics’ areas of expertise include advanced therapeutic endoscopy, liver and biliary diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease. He has published numerous articles, book chapters, and delivered many lectures, and has received recognition for his commitment to teaching. He graduated with an M.D. from New York University School of Medicine and holds an undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University.
