Meira Spivak

Author

Meira Spivak is the director of Oregon NCSY, where she has developed Jewish educational programming for teens and parents for fourteen years. She also serves as the director of Camp Kesher, a growing summer camp in the Pacific Northwest. She has a master’s degree in Jewish Education from Touro College and is an emerging leader in the application of the Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT) method of creativity, cofounded by Jacob Goldenberg. Based upon SIT leadership practice, Meira facilitates workshops and training to help businesses achieve desired results. In the past, Meira was a caterer, owned a gift basket business, and was an aerobics instructor. As the mother of a large family, Meira understands the stresses of everyday life — and sees the humor in them.
