Whether attracting admiration or hatred, the kippah is rarely ignored. Indeed, today it is undoubtedly one of the most recognized signs of Jewish identity.

Interestingly, Jewish head-coverings have taken different forms over the millennia, and their importance – or lack thereof – has been widely discussed.

Where do kippahs come from?

When should they be worn?

How important are they, really?

This masterful presentation is full of history, law, amusing and fascinating anecdotes, and much more. Written in a clear and user-friendly style by master educator Rabbi Moshe Becker, The Kippah teaches all about Yarmulkes, Judaism – and life.
