Life can be hard, sometimes, can’t it?

What does Hashem want from us?

He wants our hearts. He wants us to believe in and trust Him. In short, He wants us to have emunah.

Emunah broadens our vision. It is accepting that He knows – and always does – what is best for us, whether we understand it or not. Living a life of emunah is an entirely different experience. An emunah life has focus, direction, meaning, and joy. It is a life of beautiful closeness to Hashem. Thankfully, we do not need to actively implant emunah within us – we merely need to uncover it. Emunah is encoded in the DNA of each and every one of us.

Mrs. Riter’s approach is both deep and practical, personal and universal. It has been proven to work with thousands of appreciative students. This book, her first, provides a step-by-step daily emunah program for the soul. In 180 days, we can ‘turn around’ our lives and begin to believe and trust in God. This emunah program is truly life-changing.

About The Author

Orit Esther Riter was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is a caterer by profession, holding a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Arts Institute in New Jersey.
However, after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2006, Orit’s life direction took a different course. She was forced to close her off-premise catering company which served the Tri-State area for over fifteen years. Despite her incurable illness, she found healing through spiritual empowerment.
In 2009, Orit made aliyah with her family from Monsey, New York. She began teaching emunah to others. Essentially, she went from feeding the body at simchahs to feeding the soul b’simchah. She nurtures herself and others by emphasizing the importance of establishing a close-knit relationship with HaKadosh Baruch Hu. She focuses on learning and teaching the essential value of living a meaningful life with simchah.
Orit currently authors daily online articles and emails about emunah to a growing list of over 1,300 daily subscribers. These emails inspire others to get through challenging times by drawing from the wisdom of our Torah sages, in particular the derech of chassidut.
Having recently created an innovative “caring and listening gemach,” Orit spreads her emunah knowledge to other women via personal email, Skype, or phone by lending a compassionate ear and open heart to others in need. She provides practical coping skills for self-healing and emotional strengthening. In addition, she gives emunah shiurim every Tuesday in the Beit Shemesh area.
Orit’s daily efforts are based on her firm belief that it is only natural to share one’s innate gifts bestowed by HaKadosh Baruch Hu with others. She passionately believes that her ability to guide and empower others by strengthening their reliance on Hashem will fortify them with essential tools needed to live a purposeful life.
Currently, Orit Esther has five children and one grandson living in Israel. She lives with her husband and four younger children in Ramat Beit Shemesh.
